it's Friday night...where are YOUR kids?

Mine are all at the movies. NOT with each other, yet they're watching the same movie. They've gone to see....

Lauren has gone with her cheerleader friends to relax before another long day of competition tomorrow. Jenna has gone with her friends because she is a dedicated fan who has read all the books and anxiously waited for today. Ashley has gone with her boyfriend just to make Jenna mad cause she really doesn't give a rat's you know what about the movie or books. Of course Harley and Mallory are at home ;0)

And what am I doing, you might ask? I am sitting at my lonely little computer planning ways to torture my husband. I wonder what would come up if I googled that. I may just do that... I'll report back and let you know.

"I don't think I'm in love with you anymore, I know I am." Oh. my. gah. I am sooo in love with Roarke! Holy balls! Why did I wait so long to read this? (actually I listened) It's like an amazing episode of CSI or Law & Order or some show like that....not that I watch tv all that often, but yeah, Lt Eve Dallas would put those shows to shame! The crime solving portion of the book, which honestly was the majority of the book, was great. There was enough creep factor to the crime and the reasoning when you found out who it was that did it and why, but it wasn't so bad that you wanted to put it down. It just made me mad that I couldn't have killed the pervy old man myself. This is definitely a series I will continue. It may also just convert me to an audio book listener....as you may or may not know, my previous attempts at listening have not gone so well. But this kept my attention pretty well and I loved the voice characterization of Roa...

Ready for the rodeo?

Well, after being away from sewing and listing and selling for a couple of years, I've finally got something new up. weekly meal plan for July 24, 2023

Hello, friends! I'm back with another meal plan for this week. When I got on the scale Saturday I was back down those pesky 3.5 pounds I've been losing and gaining since May. Let's see if this week I can get passed them. I did learn that I will have to be more diligent about what I eat when we travel home for the weekends. I did not count carbs on either Saturday or Sunday. I did make low carb choices though. So, here's the plan for this week. Monday - fried pork chops and cabbage. This was Billy's request. Tuesday- ground beef stroganoff and mashed cauliflower. Wednesday- shrimp Alfredo. Spaghetti squash for me, noodles for Hubs Thursday- meatballs and marinara. I'm going to eat mine with a salad on the side. Hubs can have his on bread or over noodles Friday- eating out on way home again. This time I'll make a better choice than last Friday.
